Blessing of the Hands (general)
These hands you hold on your wedding day are the hands of your best friend, tender and sincere and vibrant with love. These are the hands that will work alongside yours, as together you build your future, as together you laugh and cry, and together you share your innermost secrets and dreams.
These are the hands that will countless times wipe the tears from your eyes: tears of sorrow and tears of laughter and joy. These are the hands that will comfort you in illness, and hold you when you are grieving. These are that hands that will passionately love you and cherish you through the years, for a lifetime of happiness, as you promise your love and commitment to one another, all the days of your lives.

Blessing of the Hands (having children)
These hands you are holding on your wedding day are the hands of your best friend, strong and full of love for you. These are the hands that will work alongside yours, as together you build your future. These are the hands that will passionately love you and cherish you through the years. With a gentle touch, they will comfort you and hold you when fear or grief fills your soul. These are the hands that will countless times wipe the tears from your eyes; tears of sorrow, and tears of joy. These are the hands that will tenderly hold your children. These are the hands that will help you to hold your family as one. These are the hands that will give you strength when you need it. And lastly, these are the hands that even when wrinkled and aged, will still be reaching for yours, still giving you the same unspoken tenderness with just a touch

Blessing of the Hands (growing old together)
These hands you are holding on your wedding day are the hands of your best friend, your lover, your confidant and your partner. These hands will work with you to build your future and fulfill your mutual dreams. These are the hands that will passionately love you and cherish you through the years. With a gentle touch, they will comfort you. They will hold you in times of fear and grief. These are the hands that will give you strength when you need it. These are the hands that will countless times wipe the tears from your eyes; tears of sorrow, and tears of joy.  In years to come, these hands, wrinkled and aged, will still be reaching for yours, still giving you the same unspoken tenderness with just a touch
