Congratulations and thank you for visiting my site. For ceremonies booked in advance, I offer two options. 

The most popular is a Custom Created Ceremony where you make selections for every ceremony part for my website.  It's a simple process and gives you total control over the words spoken in the ceremony.  This provides you with a ceremony that reflects your personality, thoughts on love and marriage.  Ceremonies can be secular (about love) or include spiritual beliefs. and can include your love story.

For couples who feel pressed for time or aren't interested in total customization Elegantly Easy Ceremonies are another option. These are pre-written ceremonies and we simply add components to make it yours!
 

Fees- Custom Created and Elegantly Easy Wedding Ceremonies
These ceremonies are typically 15-20 minutes long, but can be any length you want.  My fees are determined by distance. In Monroe County the fees for Custom Created and Elegantly Easy Ceremonies are $300 without rehearsal/ $400 with rehearsal. If your ceremony will be located outside of the county, please let me know the location and I can quote you a fee. 

My fees for Custom Created and Elegantly Easy Ceremonies include:
    •    Initial Consultation Meeting
    •    Ceremony customization and personalization
    •    Travel to ceremony site
    •    Coordinating with all your vendors the day of the ceremony
    •    Completing and filing the NYS license you obtained from the clerk

Rehearsal is the choreography of the event (processional/recessional/where to stand)  not actually practicing the ceremony so when there is a coordinator at the venue, my presence is not always needed at rehearsal. Please check with your venue for their requirements if you choose to have a rehearsal. Some require the officiant to attend, others do not.  I am happy to attend regardless of their requirements.  Rehearsal, if requested is an additional fee of $100 for Monroe County. Ask for a quote if outside the county.

Is your wedding less than 2 months away? Then consider the Short and Sweet Wedding option.
These pre-written ceremonies are typically 5-7 minutes long.   They do not include unity ceremonies (i.e unity candle/sand, handfasting etc).  The only changes that can be made to the ceremony are the vows.   Short and Sweet Ceremonies are available at a discounted rate of $150.  They are available for weddings in Monroe County and some limited areas outside the county  if close to Spencerport. Please ask me about availability for your location.

Short and Sweet Ceremonies are available if:
  • booked on short notice (within 2 months of the wedding date) They cannot be booked more than 2 months in advance unless the ceremony is to be held at noon or before.
  • there is no rehearsal.

Fees- Handfasting, Commitment  and Renewal Ceremonies

The fees for Handfasting, Commitment and Renewal Ceremonies In Monroe County are $250 if you select a pre-written ceremony, and $300 if you custom create a ceremony. Rehearsal, if needed, is an additional $100 charge. If your ceremony will be located outside of the county, please let me know the location and I can quote you a fee. These ceremonies are typically 10-20 minutes long, depending on your choices.

MUSTS:

Regardless of ceremony type,  I require a signed agreement and a deposit to hold the date. 

A marriage license is required if your ceremony/invitation uses words like "married, marriage, spouse, husband, wife, wedding, wed, bride, groom or any other word that implies marriage.

If you were married to each other prior and now want to have a marriage ceremony in front of friends and family, I still require a marriage license.   In New York, simply tell the issuing clerk you are already married and that this will be a second ceremony.  There is a small box they check on the marriage license. Please direct any questions you may have to the issuing clerk.
